Factors That Influence The Use Of Condoms
|
The religious and personal beliefs regarding condom use, the misconception that use of condoms reduces sexual pleasure, any previous adverse experiences, and fears related to gender and tensions account for reduced use of the condom, worldwide. Effective use of the condoms cannot be made possible without eliminating such social stigma. The early detection and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, improving the public knowledge about STIs and attenuating the social stigma associated with the same is very vital if the remarkable progress in maternity care, family planning and child health and immunization were to be realized.
