Male Impotence

Impotence, or erectile dysfunction, is the inability to achieve an erection, and/or dissatisfaction with the size, rigidity, and/or duration of erections. Infertility

Infertility is a condition or a disease of the reproductive system often diagnosed after a couple fail to achieve pregnancy or if the woman has been unable to carry a pregnancy that results in a live birth. Infertility can be due to a "male" factor such as decreased sperm count or no sperm, retrograde ejaculation, impotence etc. or "female" factor such as scarring from sexually-transmitted disease, ovulation dysfunction, poor nutrition, hormone imbalance, cysts or cancer of the ovaries etc.

Priapism

Most erection due to sexual stimulation never approach four to six hours. Priapism is not associated with sexual excitement, at least not initially, and the erection does not subside after ejaculation. Priapism can occur in all age groups, including newborns. Most cases of priapism are clustered between two age groups: between the ages of five to ten and twenty to fifty years. Priapism constitutes a true urologic emergency. Men often joke that they wish they could have a permanent erection, but in reality, men are extremely miserable when this actually happens.

Phimosis

Among the many diseases and infections, there are a few which have a gender bias in the way it affects. One very common problem seen in males, but goes without much attention and which gets exploited by quacks is Phimosis. Many males are embarrassed to discuss this with others. Phimosis is the inability to retract the prepuce (foreskin) of penis over the shaft due to a narrow opening.
